About X-Codr Designs
My name is Connor, also better known as X-Codr Designs. I am a solo scenery developer who takes pride in innovating and pushing the limits to create the most realistic scenery for X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
I got my start in the world of scenery development in 2016, when, against conventional wisdom, I created John F. Kennedy International Airport for the X-Plane Scenery Gateway - a scenery which, at the time, had no freeware options.
Admittedly, being my first project, this probably wasn't the best choice, but it was functional and looked alright. However, the encouragement and support from the community were incredible, and soon JFK collected thousands of downloads! This lit the fire that drove me to continue learning and improving my work.
In August 2017, I excitedly entered the payware market with Sedona Airport! Just like with JFK, the community's overwhelming support drove me to continue learning and iteratively upgrading Sedona.
Over the years, I released new airports such as Telluride, West Yellowstone, and Denver International Airport, and updated old ones. Through this process, I gained invaluable experience honing my skills and transforming my work from average to cutting edge.
Today, my focus is on developing new, innovative scenery, modernizing my older packages, and supporting the developer community with free utilities such as my X-Plane Extensions plugin for Blender and Living Scenery Technology plugin for X-Plane. No matter how my focus shifts, my core goal remains the same: Creating good scenery for people who fly.
