Blurry Ground Texture at KDEN in MSFS 2020/2024 with CU 10

Summary

In MSFS 2020 and 2024, with City Update 10 (CU10) installed, KDEN Denver International Airport has blurry ground textures, pavement, and terrain issues as seen below.

This issue happens regardless of scenery, with my scenery, with premium delux scenery, with other KDEN renditions, with default, it doesn't matter. Additionally it affects the mesh, rendering KDEN unusable. It appears that their package causes the sim to render the ground at KDEN at the lowest LOD, in other words, the version of the scenery you'd see if you were in space.

Asobo did fix this nicely in 2025, however, as of Sim Update 5 (SU5) for MSFS 2024, the issue has returned. It is my hope that Asobo will give this issue proper attention and resolve the issue.

Fix

In the interim, the only fix it to remove City Update 10 via the Content Manager (2020) or the Marketplace My Library tab (2024). After you remove CU10, please be sure to restart the sim to see changes.
